Winter Gloves

Can anyone recommend a really good pair of gloves for the winter for road biking. To make it more complicated they probably need to be women specific as most of the mens gloves I've tried on are to short in the fingers and wide across the palm for me. I've looked at Sealskins, Giro Candella and Specialized so far. Thanks :)
