    Geox, i thought they weren’t
Geox, i thought they weren’t very strong either, but look at their team

    David Blanco
    David De la Fuente
    Fabio Duarte
    Denis Menchov
    Carlos Sastre
    Matthias Brändle
    Dmitriy Kozontchuk

Sastre and Menchov are great riders in their own right and then De La Fuente and Duarte have been doing a great job mopping up everything else

After careful looking at the stage, i kept Fuggle in and made these changes

    Stage 83 IN:Matteo MONTAGUTI OUT:Jan BAKELANDTS
    Stage 83 IN:Daniel MORENO FERNANDEZ OUT:Enrico GASPAROTTO

    Stumps

    Only swopped Fuglsang for
Only swopped Fuglsang for Nieve with the basque section coming up he might go for a stage win.

What about Froome going for it big style tomorrow and trying to TT it to the finish. Only Geox will try and bring him back as it’s a 2 horse race now…and i dont think their team is strong enough ?

    I have Monfort and Fuglsang,
I have Monfort and Fuglsang, so dropping Fuggly out for someone else who’s even fuggly’er lol

I dont wanna drop Cobo but i think Mollema will do well tomorrow :”( I think Lastras will have to go as most of Movistar are ill with a stomach bug, dont fancy them all lasting

    Transfers:
    Monfort for

    Transfers:

    Monfort for Fuglsang
    Montaguti for Taaramae

Montaguti is bound to be on the attack tomorrow, lots of big hills, but I don’t fancy dropping Cobo in favour of Moncoutie for obvious reasons. Fuggles has dropped off the radar a bit. Still got Martin in there too, but he might be a bit tired… Going to be a bit of a weird finish, possibly a case of who’s the best sprinter out of the climbers that will survive the day.

    Tomorrow has 5 biggish climbs
Tomorrow has 5 biggish climbs in it but a long, flat finish. I guess a breakaway, but any GC contenders will be chased down.

    Nah, might swap Fugslang for
Nah, might swap Fugslang for Monfort, or a different AR depending on what tomorrow’s stage looks like (haven’t even bothered to check if it’s a flat/mountain/breakaway stage yet)…

Got 130 points I think Great
Got 130 points I think 😀 Great finish, even if Froome doesn’t get a chance to catch up and win the Vuelta, performances like that prove he’s a great GC contender for the future. Also good that Sky let him off the leash to attack Cobo in the first place. Wiggins is now 1:41 down, he really doesn’t like the steep-steep stuff.
