Lake shoes

Hi guys, just wondering if anyone has any experience with Lake shoes. I am considering a pair of these:

Reasons for these choices:
1) CHEAP!! I have never clipped in before, and want to try before committing to $100’s
2) I don’t want to look like a dick, these look like ‘normal’ shoes
3) I would like to be able to walk in them.

These look like they fit the bill, but I can’t find much in the way of independent reviews. Those that I have found are generally favourable. In fact the only worry I have is that they are SO cheap. They can’t be any good at that price surely? (Old cynic mode off)
