    Vincent Jerome is trying his best for us aswell, home in 171 of 175 home, i think he knows about the spot prize today and was trying to finish dead last on the stage

    We have to get him something and send it for his great 120 so far 😀

    Good point drheaton. Guess Contador shouldnt be ruled out in the time trial either – if he’s below par he may struggle to beat Evans, but he could still give either Schleck a pasting.

    Congratulations to all the thousands of teams with Geraint Thomas who smacked me by 20 points today. Other than that I think I did alright. One of my transfers did a beautifully unexpected ride… thankyou that man! 🙂

    The biggest concern for the
    The biggest concern for the Schlecks will be ‘who is likely to get far enough ahead of Evans to not lose the gap in the TT’. Andy is a better TTer than Frank so it’ll be easier for him to build up a decent gap and they’re gonna need one as the Schlecks are probably two of the poorer GC top guys.

    Agree that the Schleck’s
    Agree that the Schleck’s tactics have often been poor. But today they managed a proper 1-2 job – each attacking in turn until one of the attacks stuck. So maybe they’ve been listening to all the criticism? And to be honest, at this point, it doesnt matter which one follows contador if he attacks, provided they stay with him – if Schleck+Contador got a big gap, it would always end up with a Schleck in yellow, not Contador, as they’re both well ahead. More interesting would be if Evans gets a gap – would Andy chase and risk Frank missing out on the jersey, or would Frank chase and risk Andy losing more time to Evans? If they always want to play the 1-2 card then they have to always keep both riders in touching distance of the other favourites. And with good form and apparently much better tactics, they might just manage it this year…

    Don’t think the difference right now is small enough for the Schleks to let Contador go right now.

    Plus they have the advantage of one covering him while the other stays with Cadel & others…

    I have no idea how I performed. I should get about 70 points but that kinda score has placed me anywhere from top 200 to 500+ …

    Question now is should I drop Thomas now or does he still have something in the tanks to go for that white jersey and some breaks?

    Does anyone think Contador may have made that look hard today so the Schlecks think he’s not a threat, he only dropped like 10 secs to Andy, so he might try go away tomorrow without them bothering because they will be looking at other threats?
