Cielo sportif alternatives.

Hello, first post on here.

I have been harbouring a desire for a cielo sportif for some time now and given that I will be turning thirty next week this seems an ideal time to treat myself to something nice, (that will last a long time as opposed to my mtbs which last unitl… well what ever I fancy next comes along.) However, I am baulking slightly at the eye watering price tag so am looking for alternatives. Ideally a classically styled road bike.

Option 1: Get a similar frame made by Shand, Rourke, Feather, or A.N. Other framebuilder for significantly less than the cielo, but using similar geometry.

Option 2: make me a suggestion.

I would like steel preferably. Usage will mainly be club run type rides.
I live in n.e scotland so mudguard fittings would be welcome.
