What transfers to make for stage 2?

    Well I’m getting rid of Goss, cos Cav isn’t able to lead him out.
    Aha , I hear you think, you’re bringing in Tony Martin, but no I’m not, cos he’s too dear.
    And I’m getting rid of Voeckler, cos he’s goin to score zero points in stage 2.
    So, because Sky are going to win the TT, maybe I should get in Swift to replace Goss.

    Hhhhmmm, maybe I am being sarcastic (or ironic) as usual ! 😕 :^o

    Yeah, Saxo Bank are out first because they are bottom of the team classification. Oops. Nothing to aim at. I can see Contador losing more time to a number of rivals today, which on top of the minute and a quarter lost yesterday immediately changes the complexion of the next three weeks’ racing. He has to attack in the mountains, and he has to follow everyone else’s attacks. Should be fun.

    Not that I think GT will be outside the first 5 Sky riders today, but worth noting that he (and Thor at Garmin, Martin at HTC etc) are not automatic shoo-ins for the yellow jersey if their teams win – they still have to finish inside the group with the fifth rider, if they’re off the back they get their own time, not the team’s :B

    There were a few Welsh flags on show yesterday, there’s a fair chance they’ll be getting waved in celebration this evening.

    You’ll all know this but to summarise.

    htc win by more than 6 secs Martin in yellow
    sky win by more than 6 secs Thomas in yellow and white
    garmin win by more than 6 seconds Hushovd in yellow
    rsh win by more than 6 seconds Kloden in yellow
    eur win by more than 6 seconds Voeckler in yellow
    bmc win by more than 3 seconds Evans in yellow
    olo win Gilbert in yellow
    leo win by more than 6 seconds Gerdermann in yellow
    Rab win by more than 6 seconds Gesink in yellow

    Hope I have this right. I tried like crazy to get Thomas in my team, but couldn’t do it in a way I was happy with.
    A win for htc, garmin or olo is best for me.

    15 teams have a man at 6 secs…oh dear Saxobank isn’t one of them.

    God I need to get out more or cut the grass or something.

    Gkam is right, Boardman was
    Gkam is right, Boardman was talking about it on the ITV highlights, they checked it out with the officials and if Team Sky win Thomas is in yellow no matter who crosses the line first. Likewise Martin is in yellow if HTC win and Hushovd if Garmin win etc etc.

    I nearly made a similar gaff,
    I nearly made a similar gaff, but worked out just in time that I was 1.1 credits short .
    So I went for a different combination, hoping that EBH does not get in yellow.
