Big bars for big riders

I’m keen to replace my bars as they feel a bit cramped. They’re the OEM jobs that came with my Giant Defy. They’re 44cm c-c and ergo shaped, but that’s all I know about them.

As I’m larger than the average cyclist (6’5″, 115kg), I’m guessing that there aren’t too many bars to fit, but your suggestions would be most welcome.

WTB makes some very nice, big wide drops- they’re similar to Salsa bell laps 46cm wide- great on a crosser or a rough stuff tourer too.

I was just going to say the same, I know some big ole boys who like them. Here’s a link to them on Wiggle, but have a look around and you can get ’em cheaper

    Salsa Pro Road 46cm
46cm is as much width as you’re likely to get i think. the salsas’ll give you a bit of extra space and the ergo drops are good, cheap and all
