Several years ago I bought a second hand Specialized Ruby and it came with Cane Creek Volos… I love them but have discovered that they are no longer made… I now need some new wheels and was wondering what would be todays equivalent? I can find very little information about them apart from a few forums where everyone said they are/were wonderful! This leads me to believe that originally they would have been very expensive and to get the equivalent ride quality I’m going to spend mega £’s.
I have absolutely no knowledge about wheels and am only currently using the bike for gentle (slow) laps around the park on sunny days so any suggestions on how to not loose too much quality but get some decent wheels for a reasonable price would be gratefully received.
