    Earlier this year I had the problem that I missed the transfer window by a few minutes but didn’t realise and made my transfers anyway, this completely screwed up my team for 2 stages rather than one.

    Would it be possible to close the transfer window for a couple of hours after the deadline has passed? That way it should be far more difficult to make the same mistake I did.

    Yesterday I had the transfer page open when the window closed and a ‘red banner’ came up highlighting the fact the window was closed, however the banner disappeared after refreshing the page.     I have no opinion either way. Missing my deadline for the autumn classics was a blow…but actually if i’d Missed  the Vuelta deadline instead (did it the night before) I would have saved a transfer by not bringing in Aru for a measly 5 pts.

    I missed two deadlines last year in the Vuelta and both of them worked out great and helped me win it…in fact was the biggest factor in me winning it.

    To stop accidental late transfer like Minardi had then surely just disable the transfer page for the duration of the race if possible. 

    Missing a deadline can be good news but late wasted transfers definitely not.
