Genesis – Bike Touch up paints

    HI 

    Hi I have a 2015 Red Croix de Fer 10 (Mjolnir frame), I need to buy a touch up paint to cover some scratches on the frame – can anyone advise where I might buy.

    I have asked Genesis on their own website,  they do not supply and they have told me the paint colour is TC-6512 but I can find no way of matching to this code, or any listing of TC- code prefixes – it does not seem to be in use anywhere

    I think it may be the same colour as this years Tour de Fer 10 but am not sure on that point

    Humbrol is a good shout. Alternatively you could take it to Debenhams and find a nail varnish. You could also get your nails done to match.

    I too gave up trying to get touch-up for my Equilibrium, Genesis didn’t seem very interested. 

    However I found some Humbrol enamel paint – it comes in those tiny little tins – that was a very close match and cost about a quid.  Seven years down the line I’ve still got three quarters of it left so it’s good value.
