Liege-Bastogne-Liege advice

OK chaps, I'm off to Liege-Bastogne-Liege and wonder if anyone can give some advice on a good place to stay for a few days? It doesn't have to be in Liege itself - preferably somewhere where we can get to the start pretty easily (although we will have cars) and with great Ardennes rides on the doorstep. There will be 12 of us. Any advice really appreciated!
