    What do people think of the route and where are people going to watch it?
    The Alps is the focus, but Pyrenees looks a good bet too as you could watch a couple of stages on consecutive days from one base.

    i rode down to the alps last
    i rode down to the alps last year to see the morzine finish and start … took 5 1/2 days from Le Havre – with 2 hours in a bar each pm watching the stage finishes – fab.
    you could watch it in brittany by bike too

    could ride up galibier on
    could ride up galibier on thursday and alpe d’huez friday, then watch tt on saturday and then home on sunday to watch itv4 highlights on sunday …

    I’d quite like to see the start. Always wanted to go the ill de Normoutier and I’d fancy going to the Pyrenees too

    where are people going to
    where are people going to watch it?

    on TV/computer for me i suspect, but if i was able to get out there stages 18/19 on the Col du Galibier would be my choice.
