Mine didn’t work out either, no real breakaway points on offer, so Turgis was a mistake, and Theuns was sprinting for Trek over Degenkolb.

Told you so!

That’s the risk. I literally flipped a coin between Jakobsen and Bennett for Kwia.
Kwia only needs to have a reasonable finish to match either of them for pts though….if they don’t actually win or come second.

Looking like a self imposed
Looking like a self imposed rest day so far. Brought in Kwia and Sanchez who got first and second at the intermediat sprint. So far, so good.

Maybe favourable to echelons really close to the finish.
Yeah I saw that. Interesting that the general weather showed a SSW wind but the BBC graphic shows the influence of our weather turning the wind distinctly to a cross wind later on. Could be carnage again. Good luck with having the right picks.

Same as you for tomorrow looking at bringing in some GC riders for non-preforming sprinters.
A longer stage tomorrow and very windy again although the wind directions might not be ideal for blowing things up again.
I can’t beleive how some teams fell asleep in the last 3km today. FDJ had lots of riders there for Demare but still got caught out, AG2R too.

I dropped Kittel for Trentin.

I don’t think this is ging to
I don’t think this is going to be my race.
After yesterday I broke one of my golden rules – “don’t chop & change sprinters”. I dropped Greipel for Ewan and in the race Greipel drops Ewan.
Kristoff nowhere to be seen again.
Looking a bit better for my purist team, Kelderman & Jungels up front.

Chaos so far. Demare,
Chaos so far. Demare, Degenkolb, Kittel, Greipel, Trentin and Groenewegen are in the front group. Jakobsen, Bennett, Ewan, Kristoff behind.
