I noticed that these races are now included in the ‘Coming Up’ list.
Last year all the races included in the competition were World Tour events, and Kurne-Bruxelles-Kurne was not included.
KBK is currently on this years list despite not being a WT event. Is this correct ?
Will Driedaagse Brugge-De Panne be included? This is WT in 2019
Thanks

So Naesen coming 7th is an OK result for me.
Otherwise disappointed that a team with 6 in the front group scored not so many points.
Incredible ride by Bettiol and a great race by the team, tactical perfection. Vanmarke up the road to help out in the final phase and Langeveld there to slow the chasers down.

Well that was a bit meh. Sold
Well that was a bit meh. Sold Kristoff because I never expected him to last such a tough course in that company and sold Naesen due to him being ill and on anti biotics (HA!)…..Betiol softened the blow a bit.

Not convinced how ill Gilbert actually was, and both are as likely as anyone to finish top 10, even if not quite 100%.
Both seemed iffy. Naesen claiming he needed anti biotics immediately after his last race due to being sprayed by champagne seemed a strange one.
Terpstra down and out is a blow…
It looks like both have missed out on the front group. I haven’t seen them at all recently.

Sagans form seems to be
Sagans form seems to be building – at least he’s at the pointy end of races again but he still didn’t look his old self last time out, mechanical or no.He doesnt seem to chase down attacks like in former years if it risks dragging anyone to the line either. Is it because he’s been burned too many times or because he’s lacking that swagger he knows he can ride anyone off his wheel?
Much like Cavs attitude in recent years if he’s not in a position to win in a bunch finish, he seems to sit up a bit more too. But then why would he care about another top 10 on his palmares?
He’s a bigger gamble this year but still keeps appearing in my team. Notwithstanding all the above, when it clicks (as eventually I’m sure it must) he’s awesome…..

Dr Winston wrote:Yeah. He lost weight during his illness so maybe that still affected him last time out. Just doesn’t look dominant or imposing when riding really…hard to put your finger on it…other than looking at how powerful Stybar looks visually at the moment, amongst others. He lost a lot of weight over winter training as well. He’s specifically aiming for Liege this year, but don’t count him out of Ronde or Paris-Roubaix. He had a gearing issue during E3 I believe.

Sagan has been at the front in a few races but seems to have lacked punch at the finish.
He has taken a different approach this season, aiming to maintain form for LBL, perhaps this is affecting him.
I had VdP today but decided to drop Rowe rather than Langeveld.

Replaced the dreaded 380mm bars with Deda Elimentii specialii at 460mm wide (exact same profile as the originals)..a beautiful new and obligatory selle Italia 1980 turbo saddle…brand new unused exage brakes as exact swaps, amongst other stuff. All new cables…blah, blah, blah…basically rebuilt.
You can’t beat a good old retro.
Beautiful
Going out on her shortly…the Cannondale will have to stay in the garage…ha….
Looking for another retro to do up now. Has to be 501 or 531 frame only, entry level, downshifters…and this time preferably non aero brakes.
