Do many people use this service at all?

    https://www.bikeregister.com/

Apparently a national database that the police access. Free to register bike details, but they sell marking kits to visibly or invisibly (UV) mark your bike in a way that’s traceable back to the database entry.

Anybody have any experience of getting a bike back due to using this service?
