Hey all. I’m pretty new here so first a little intro… I’m from northeast USA. Years ago I used to commute via bike almost regardless of the weather (ok, I skipped riding when roads were too icy/snowy) and loved MTB’ing. Fast-forward 9 years, 1 house, marriage, 2 kids and barely any riding :/ In July I picked up a Specialized Allez Sprint Comp and haven’t looked back (picture in the pinned photos thread). I recently added a used trainer for those days when I can’t get outside. Early morning rides make getting up a lot easier.
So what’s the point of all this?
I love Strava, but I can’t stand that it doesn’t have weather conditions as part of an activity. So I built a service to automatically add them and thought others might find it useful. What’s my angle?
I’m hoping to get enough users that random donations offset the cost of running the service. That’s it. Apologies for the shameless plug. The service is here: https://klimat.app
It can also be found in the Strava app marketplace, https://www.strava.com/apps/visualizerI’d love any feedback you all have.
Best,
Scott
