iPhone ads on front page

I get that the site has to be funded somehow and the product referrals are a good way to convert clicks into money, but does anyone else think it's a bit weird to be putting a referral advert for an iPhone on the front page? Cycling products: fine, referral links for everything else: a bit weird.
