Tightly bound in Dura Ace pedals

    I’ve treated myself to some Dura Ace pedals, but the binding is very tight even on the lowest setting.  Is this normal, and if so, will they loosen off with time. I’m alsmost dislocating my ankle each time I inclip.

    I’ve  found in the past with

    I’ve  found in the past with new cleats and pedals that the binding likes to “grab” sometimes. I rubbed a candle against the contact surfaces to provide a bit of non-gunky lubrication and it was very effective. Worth a punt if your binding’s tensions are already low.

    Hi Steve, I had the same issue.

     

    I just turned the adjuster screw’s the opposite direction and they got easier and work fine now. Odd one.
