That’s a DT Swiss one, which I believe uses a different thread size to other makes.

The Robert Axle Project is a good site to check the different sizes (and has a thread template to verify the pitch): https://robertaxleproject.com/

    I believe Tacx make some

I believe Tacx make some special extended thru-axles specifically for this purpose, with bosses on both ends to connect to the trainer

You just have to pick the right size.

Maybe have a look on the Giant website to see if they list the size, or failing that, pop down to your LBS for advice

If you google 12 mm thru-axle, there’s bound to be one that doesn’t have a handle but has an allen socket instead or some other mechanism.

    Unfortunately the end with

Unfortunately the end with the handle wouldn’t fit as the trainer has solid circular cups
