    I’ve seen this a couple times

    I’ve seen this a couple times, drives me mental.

    Firstly, the punctured inner tube was clearly replaced by a non-punctured innertube (so carrying the punctured tube clearly isn’t an issue).

    Inner tubes aren’t great for the environment and it’s littering anyway, so why not just stuff it in a jersey pocket.

    Also, inner tubes can be repaired, why on earth would you leave one at the side of the road?!
