Less Cannondale this year?

I was told by a bike shop that there has been less Cannondale bikes imported in to the UK for 2018. Significantly less, about half. Does anyone know if there is any truth to this or were they just trying to push a sense of urgency for a quick sale? Thanks

Dorel Sports ( Cannondale

Dorel Sports ( Cannondale owners) suffered a big sales drop last year so I’m not surprised…. also Giant et al from Taiwan also saw an 18% drop…. others did well but they are the niche makes… expect less choice

Could be true, someone on here mentioned earlier that the one-legged fork model, the Slate, is no longer available in the UK.
