Paris-Nice and Milan-San Remo 2018

Hi all, I'm going to Nice in March to watch the last couple of stages of Paris-Nice, then hire a bike and do some riding for a week, then jump on a train to San Remo the following Saturday to watch the end of the big race. Never watched cycling on the continent before - any tips? And/or anyone else going and fancy a ride/beer? (Riding standard very leisurely compared to a lot of people on here I'm guessing...)
