Hit whilst stationary

    This morning on way to work at Dartmouth Circus in Birmingham I was hit whilst waiting to go at the Island.

    This was the day after the awful crash just down the road on same kind of fast road. BCC and the new Mayor Andy Street talk a good game but no real plans for proper Bike infra and they seem to think we all want to ride on canals.

    Yes I did not stop as one in a bit of shock at what happened and hoped to get number off video later but quality was too poor.

    But this is what we have to face but nothing will put me off, BTW was wearuing high Vis with two rear lights, anyone who says hi vis works ha ha

    yep and in work hours normally has traffic lights on but it just encourages speed from all exits when no traffic lights and recklessness

    because I was in bloody shock and if I had stopped I would not have been in control and we have seen too many incidents where things like that can get way out of hand. 

     

    and the driver got lucky really the camera did not pick up the registeration as I would have took him as far as I could get
