I recently picked up a Kinesis T3 to build up as a commuter as I’m sick of getting a wet arse and a filthy drivetrain every time it rains. At £200 it was a bargain!
Unfortunately, it appears that there are very few choices when it comes to forks, because of the tapered head tube. Kinesis’ own forks can be had for £180, but I am loathe to spend that much on a fork for a commuter. Does anyone know of any cheaper options that are:
– carbon (don’t care about the steerer being carbon)
– tapered steerer
– for caliper brakes
– have mudguard eyes
Thanks!
