Just got a cracking deal on new bike from Tredz

    Finally got my new bike, Giant Contend LS 2 from Tredz who have a special May bank holiday discount for today only, normal price £849 with discount paid £721,65, offer ends tonight at midnight.  Thought I would share in case I can help anyone else get a good deal, use MAYDAY15 code, hope I am allowed to post link, appoligies if not http://www.tredz.co.uk/yes

    I ordered some replacement

    I ordered some replacement shoe buckles and a pair of socks from Tredz – came within 48 hours. Absolutely brilliant and lovely Giro socks too. They had used the Haribos as packing I think. I had 7 packets!!!

     

    So they get full marks from me – just wish I had taken the plunge a year back and bought the volare they had on massive discount oh well.

    just got my order from them now – so that was 5 days

    I suspect dottigirl is right though – the “in stock” on their website to be taken with a bucket of salt – I received a slightly newer item than the one pictured – I got lucky, it arrived promptly and is even nicer than the one I wanted

    Well my bike arrived this morning, exactly as informed by Tredz and in perfect working order.  Although i had my reservations ordering online and from one or two bad reviews I had read about Tredz, I can’t fault them. They included peddles and multi tool kit and peddle spanner at no extra cost.  Just can’t wait to get home and try it out tonight now, unfortuneatly I’ve got my work clothes on or else i would be out now enjoying a nice ride in the Cotswold’s!

    And here, still waiting for socks ordered as a Christmas present.  They are very nice about it and I get a lot of phonecalls with updates on what isn’t happening, but it is a bit annoying as I went with them initially as they said they were in stock!

    Yes i did read a few bad reviews with regards to Tredz but i took a gamble that if I was let down I would be protected via Paypal.

    I recieved a telephone call and email yesterday to say my bike was in stock and will be delivered on Friday.

    Drat! No i missed that deal.  I did look at 2016 Defy range but couldn’t find one in my size or price range.  Local shop had Defy 2 in my size but for more than I could buy a new Contend 2.

    Not a fan of Tredz – I stopped ordering from them due to their habit of taking orders without having the items in stock. So, you’d have to wait ages for the item to arrive.

    Well done for sharing, not in the market for another bike, but a big fan of Tredz customer service and prices.
