Bontrager race wheels

    My new Trek 5.9 came with Bontrager Race wheels. I already have a pair of fairly low mileage (about 3000) Fulcrum racing 3 wheels. Should I swap the Bontrager wheels for the Fulcrum?

    The 3’s are lighter than the Race by 150 grams. If you do a lot of climbing the 3’s would have the nod. However, considering they’re both on the lower end of the product lines it would behoove you to ride both, with the same tires, to see which ride, hub engagement and rolling effort you prefer.

    Without a doubt, I upgraded

    Without a doubt, I upgraded the wheels on my Trek Emonda SL5 to Campagnolo Neutrons and it really did transform the ride.  Corners a lot better and seems to hold speed better, plus of course it looks cooler smiley
