At my office we have many colleagues from other countries spending months at a time working with us in the UK. During that time they live in serviced apartments a couple of miles from the office.
I’ve recently been loaning my bike to one of the guys and he was really appreaciative as its the best way for him to travel in to work and gives him the freedom we all know and love đŸ˜‰ Plus it saves the company in taxi fares.
Anyway it occurred to me that it would be great if my employer could provide a few loan bikes that people like him could use but also be available for anyone should they want to pop into town at lunch (my office is on a business park a mile or so from the nearest shops). I’m thinking of a kind of low tech borisbike scenario where reception dolls out the keys and keeps a deposit.
Anyway my ask is does anyone have experience of such a scheme and in particular the legal disclaimers that you need?
