Elite qubo digital turbo

Hi folks. 

Have just bought a second hand qubo. The digital one but the slightly older version. 

The digital wireless controller won’t seem to connect to the resistor unit. 

I have followed all the steps in the instructions but the controller won’t register pedalling or change resistance etc

i have called elite but not helpful. 

Sounds like I am missing something but can’t figure it. 

I guess I should have bought a new one!!!
