    I’ve seen some mad things in my time on the road, but I don’t think I’ve ever been overtaken in this manner.  Perhaps we can raise this video’s profile and get the police interested?

    Just for the record, I completely support the velo user’s road position and right to be there.  I don’t think he’s done anything wrong, not even slightly.

    And we didn’t see two minutes before the incident so maybe there was provication.

    I did a spell as a lollipop

    I did a spell as a lollipop man when I retired.

    One of the most alarming incidents was when I had the traffic halted and a car drove along the pavement to get past, scattering children and their parents as it went.

    I got witness statements from parents and reported the incident to the police.   No action was taken.

    I resigned shortly afterwards.
