    Spinal issues explains it. My

    Spinal issues explains it. My son who has had spinal surgery and has had to have his neck fused would need to have  bike like this so he can see where he’s going, and not doing stem staring all the time as he is unable to tilt his head back. So yes unsightly but allows him to get out and ride.

    I’m about the same height on the same-sized frame and that steerer extension is just all kinds of bizarre.

    Saetta is a lovely bike…..

    Comes as carbon frame, fork and alloy steerer…..fork must shudder like hell with that extended steerer!

    Brand new that bike is under £2000. So not only does it look awful but it is priced at probably double its actual second hand value.
