I’m looking to get my road bike resprayed but despite searching the internet i can’t find anywhere in the North East (preferably around Newcastle) that specialises in carbon spray jobs. Plenty of places that do cars or steel frames but not carbon.

Anyone out there that can help ?

    I’m after the north east

I’m after the north east purely so i can hand deliver and look at their workshop etc before making any decisions. Colour pallets look a lot different in real time than on the internet. Thanks for the reply though, its appreciated.

Roadie john, i’ll take a look at him, thanks.

Why in the north? Surely you

Why in the north? Surely you’re gonna post it anyway. Enigma Paint Works in Sussex do a superb job on any material including carbon. Google enigma bikes.

    Rob hales writes about doing

Rob hales writes about doing this, pretty sure he is north of the Thames.

I suspect you will have to travel for specialists, check out motorsports preparation businesses. They tend to be all over the country and make/paint a lot of pretty plasticky things!

    Will do.

    Will do.

There’s a few places that i’ve found that do powder coating but its up round the 200 degrees temp wise and that’s a wee bit warm for carbon.

The coating sounds good. I have to admit i hadn’t heard of it so just googled it !

If you are getting this done

If you are getting this done add a hydrophobic coating and show us the result?!
