Any recommendations for a free phone app. for my Windows phone. Only needs to be simple, maybe map, speed and distance.
I have downloaded CycloMeter but am unable to change from km to miles. No biggy I know, but perhaps someone can suggest an app more UK friendly. Cheers

Quite odd that Strava wouldn’t have a Windows Phone app. Must have vetted the demographic and decided it wasn’t worth the development.

That would be the sub 2% (and falling) of smartphones sold worldwide that are running Windows I expect.

On Windows phone I tend to

On Windows phone I tend to use Endomondo for tracking, or if I want to follow a route an app called GPX Viewer can display a gpx file from OneDrive (on your standard downloaded maps , so you’re not using data) and then record and upload your ride.

Unfortunately, Strava does not currently offer support for Windows phones, nor do we have plans to support this OS in the future.

Let us know what you think about the current options & workarounds, and any tips and tricks you’d like to share with the community about using your Windows Phone with Strava.

OP asked for recommendations for an app to run on his WINDOWS phone – Strava doesn’t.

@Caveman – I’m an android user so had no personal experience of the windows version of any of the apps suggested in the following link but did use Endomondo on work issued Blackberry OS phone nd found it okay. The screenshot of Cylometer in the article shows a Metric/Imperial option in the setting though, have you looked closely enough at the options screen?

Yes that’s true. I have set the option to mph. However only the history shows it as mph, the actual ride still shows km.

I use ‘sports tracker’ which is easy to use and simple as long as you only use the free version.
