Leg warmers staying up

My knee/leg warmers don’t stay up on my left leg but they are on my right leg !

Right leg is probably the stronger one as I broke my left hip a while ago. The knee/leg warmers are either made by Assos or Castelli and I have the same problem whatever the make. I believe that they fit snugly enough, i.e. they are tight on my legs.

I do pull up the warmers as high as possible but the left one slips down after a km or two!

    Anyone got any advice please?

Or do I have ride along pulling back my shorts to tug them up, not a pleasant sight for passing pedestrians cheeky ?

    Cheers

    Have this problem also..

    a) pull em up higher

    b) size down

    c) wear shorts with more silicone grip around the legs

after a couple of goes of that, it won’t matter if you’ve shaved…

i always found grippers worked better on hairy legs. But the leg warmers still slipped down. Same with arm warmers.

I have the same problem, no

I have the same problem, no matter what the size of the warmers.

I prefer 3/4s – useful for 9/12 months of the year. Which coincidentally equals 3/4, for those with an anal bent. Hehe.

    HaHa, had the same flash

HaHa, had the same flash thought as Butty. Seriously, try increasing the width along with sizing down the upper grippers.

I know someone who used to
I know someone who used to safety pin them to their bib shorts. Not Rapha approved but it works.

    Measure your thighs on both

Measure your thighs on both legs with a tailor’s measure. See if it really is due to a size difference. If it is, then do something like air squats to build up strength and pump them a bit. Left one will get worked harder.

If it’s not size, maybe it’s actually some movement that’s causing it. Definitely an irritating problem to have though indecision
