Why does this website keep logging me out?

    Accessibility for all

    I check Road.cc on three devices, all on Chrome, but every few days I’m logged out on one or the other.  It’s a bit annoying.

    Can you stop it, please?  Log me out when I click the log out button, not before.

    I use Chrome and Firefox and get logged out of both.  I never use a mobile device to access the site as I don’t enjoy the mobile experience. However, I believe in the quest to become more “mobile compliant” many sites lose focus on the desktop user experience.

    Multiple access points for

    Multiple personal access points for this website should not log you in and out, but i certainly get logged out regularly during the week (not chrome – but IE). I suspect the cookie that keeps the password for this website is not entirely compliant with all browsers and hence when the website refreshes it’s access, the password is not available to it

    I use chrome and apart from logging me out I have to turn the ads off or the pages keep  freezing. Also, how do you subscribe to a thread now ?

    I view the site on an old iPhone (a 4 or 4S I think).   It keeps me logged in all the time unless I clear my browser cache, in which case I am logged out the next time I visit.  Logging in or out on a separate PC doesn’t affect whether the iPhone remains logged in.

    Me too, and I only ever visit road.cc on one device. It didn’t in the old website, you were logged in for the duration if you didn’t log out.

    I’m pretty sure it can only handle any one user being logged in on one device at any one time.  It could be by design to prevent spamming of the forum?  If I log in on my phone it logs me out on my laptop.
