OK, I’m loving commuting on my Globe 1 ‘San-Francisco’ (aka ridged Spesh SS mountain bike with slicks), but I have to admit I’m missing the speed of my old Giant Bowery… So do I lookout for a 29er Mtb frame and rims or swallow hard and get a CX? ( They do sell CX’s with discs? ) đŸ˜•

Genesis Croix De Fer is a CX
Genesis Croix De Fer is a CX bike with discs, and they’ll be more coming now the UCI has made discs legal for CX competition. I’ve got the CdF and its a cracking all rounder – road tires for most uses and then CX tires for a bit of trail riding when I fancy it. If you’ve got space and budget for another bike, i’d recommend it!
