I’m looking to get into cycling. As seen in the title I’m in need of advice in purchasing my first road bike! Does anyone have experience in this matter? The main bikes I’d be looking at would be:
1. 13 Intuition Lambda (down to 510 euro) http://www.halfords.ie/webapp/wcs/stores/servlet/ProductMobileDisplay?catalogId=15551&langId=-1&categoryId=212536&productId=1125625&storeId=11101
I like the price and how the design looks but I want to be sure I get a good quality, comfortable, light road bike that will make cycling as enjoyable as possible with minimal issues.2. Merida Ride Juliet 100 (780 euro) http://www.merida-bikes.com/en_gb/bikes/road-bikes/lady/2016/ride-juliet-100-5494.html
3. Merida Ride Juliet 300 (1000 euro) http://www.merida-bikes.com/en_gb/bikes/road-bikes/lady/2016/ride-juliet-300-5536.html
Not sure how big a step up this is from the lower model I have listed above?Other than that I am definitely open to any recommendations. I would love to hear from anyone with experience of either of these brands. I have read reviews for all of these bikes online but I’m mostly having trouble with trying to compare them to each other to help me decide what gets me the best bike for the money.
In case it’s relevant here’s a bit about me/ my needs:
19 years old
Will use to commute to college/ work and for long fitness spins on weekends (hopefully)
5’4″
Ideally wouldn’t like to spend any more than 1000 EURO but might stretch a little of wit really seemed worth it.
