Suggestions for a road wheelset for Cannondale CAADX

I have acquired a Cannondale CAADX 105 and while primarily its for cyclocross style riding, I want to get a wheelset for popping on it for road-only rides. I live in a hilly area, so the gearing of the CAADX isn't really an issue. What would anyone suggest for a suitable wheeset? I don't want to spend a fortune, as a fair amount of the time they'll hang on the garage wall......... Thanks in advance for any feedback/suggestions!
