    Hi,

Advice gratefully received on computers…I’m looking to upgrade from the current budget but reliable Cateye one in order to see heart rate info.

Does anyone know of a decent computer that will display heart rate simultaneously on the screen and also transmit this to the strava running on my iphone for storage and analysis afterwards?

Would a Cateye strada do this or is Garmin the only offering (I had a dreadful experience with a previous unit and dont want to go back!)? I’m not mounting my phone on the bars!

Hoping to spend £100 tops, probably a bit ambitous though!

    Cheers!

    The Garmin 25 http://www

The Garmin 25 http://www.wiggle.co.uk/garmin-edge-25-gps-cycle-computer/ comes in under £100, but you’ll need a heart rate strap if you don’t have one already.

I’ve only ever used Ant+: you get a USB dongle which connects to your device and uploads via its software on your computer… You set it/Strava to talk to each other and away you go. Easier than it sounds – at least with garmin.

    Great, thanks for the help!
