Focus R.A.T. Thru axle Thule racks

Has anyone tried the Focus R.A.T. Thru axle with a Thule bike rack and the axle adaptor? Not sure how it will work because of the design, it's a Thule outride rack and adaptor I'm looking at (fork mounted)
