Hello,
I’m looking for a new commuter, I’m spending a lot of money keeping my 1981 Raleigh on the road and it frequently fails me. I haven’t bought a bike since then, so consider me as naive as they come.
I have a short comute, but it’s Bristol, so crappy potholed roads and steep hills. I’m looking for something I can sit upright on/flat bars with mud guards and disc brakes/brakes that don’t clog up. Probably two front cogs. I’m 100kg and 6’2 so something that fits me – nice wide pedals always good as I have a gammy foot!
I’ll probably go for a interest free new option, a friend got a good deal on a specialsied sirrus that isn’t quite right but is nice. Looking to spend about the same.
