Tyre advice please – Rando vs Gravel Kings

Hi all! I’m new to the forum and relatively new to cycling (only learnt at the age of 30, feel free to say “Bless!”), please be gentle.

I commute and ride on the weekends on a mixture of crappy London streets and parkland Walk, an abandoned railway that’s a shared bike path which gets a bit muddy in the winter. I also like to explore canal towpaths.

I ride a Genesis Croix de Fer 10 and run 700×32 Vittoria Randonneurs. So far so good, has them two years and brought them with me to this new bike. But I heard good things about Panaracer’s Gravel King and wonder if it’s with switching to 700×28 version of this.
