Trek Madone wheel upgrade?

Hi I've been riding a Trek Madone 2.1 for a couple of months now for commuting to work an the casual ride on the weekend, the wheels seem a bit heavy so I was looking for a suitable upgrade. Can any one point me in the right direction for a lighter wheelset, aluminium preferably. Thanks

It’s quite a light bike to start with, so the wheels are probably quite light. Look at Hunt wheels. There are many others, expect decent wheels to start at £200-£250 and go upwards
