Retro Ellis Briggs

I’m a mountain bike rider but have rescued a racer from the tip..(much to the wifes dismay!)
The bike is late 70’s/early 80’s and now that i’ve removed but sadly destroyed the lovely Campag seatpost its almost ready to use.

I have two choices sell it or commute on it.

If i commute on it i need to swap the wheels. The current wheels are Shimano 600 hubs/Mavic GP4 rims with DT spokes, all in good nick but the tyres are glue on and i would like to use simple tyres and tubes. Anybody got anything they would like to swap?
