“I am not a Cyclist”

or so it says on the massive poster up in Manchester city centre. I’ve also seen lots of other “I am not a cyclist” posters around the bus shelters of Greater Manchester. How nice of TFGM to reinforce my sense of superiority. I always knew that those others on bike were just that, people-on-bikes. Not a real Cyclist like myself. The first time I had a hankering to pull on some lycra I knew I wasn’t just a bike rider, but a cyclist. I will continue to look down on other bike riders, as I am sure will other road users. As we know, all drivers are motorists and highly competent, I am sure they will take great care to look out for these non-cyclists. Thanks TFGM.
