Best source for resealable phone bags?

Anyone got any good tips for phone bags?

I’ve had a Velopac which split at the corners and as a result it’s been snagging jerseys ~X( also the edges are quite sharp and it’s therefore not easy to access the buttons on the sides, and it’s opaque on one side, so all round a bit pants.

Prior to that I used a good old fashioned resealable bag, transparent, can access buttons on the side, but they only last for a while. I looked on Ebay for resealable bags but it seems you have to buy 100 at a time!

    Any good tips out there?

    Not immediately useful but….

Next time you buy a phone, just buy a waterproof one. E.g. several of Sonys’ Xperia range are. OR just buy a second hand one from Ebay. E.g. an older Sony Xperia S if you just want GPS, or maybe the more recent Xperia M2 Aqua if you want a newer one that has ANT+ and BLE.

I’ve got a knitted Moose phone cover for protection that I got free with some of their socks and I just put it in a sealable sandwich bag. Sorted. And it cost me nothing.

My pocpac is okay but I wouldn’t buy another one. Same issues as above and sometimes you’ll find the press it type zip has come apart.

I have a pocpac that I only used once, the edges are too sharp and the material too stiff to put in a jersey pocket without fearing for it’s safety. Wouldn’t have been so much of a problem if the thing wasn’t so wide, but you had to squash it to fit into a pocket.

Problem with pocpac will be the same as velopac, it’s edges make it difficult to use the side buttons on the phone, all these bags are designed for iphones/phones with buttons on the front

I bought 300 heavy duty ziplock bags for £20 on Amazon about 2 years back. Use them for everything and still have 1/2 left now.

    Can’t really beat them.

I’ve a ShowersPass phone case that I’m pretty happy with. It’s hard wearing, waterproof and you can drive your phone through the clear section.

With an S4 it fitted perfectly (IIRC they offer different sizes depening on the phone), with my new LG G4 it’s a teensy bit too small so the clear screen doesn’t sit perfectly flat – works but makes it more awkward to use the phone.

Fits in a jersey pocket comfortably, though you won’t get much else in there with it.
