Bryton Rider 60

    Anyone an owner of the Bryton Rider 60? I am currently on the look out for a new bike computer and came across this. There is some limited information and reviews on the internet (nowhere near as much for Garmin devices) – getting some information from actual day to day users would be useful.

    The price seems pretty good for the feature set (some where around the Garmin edge 1000 or 810) and it would be good to go with something a bit different rather than going down the usual Garmin route (which I might have to). Currently using a foreunner watch which is a bit limited in what it can do (a throwback from my running days).

    I am interested to hear anything about the Bryton Rider 60 but one thing in particular is how easy it is to get rides uploaded to Strava of which I am an avid user. From limited information the on net it seems that there is no auto upload to Strava. I really want a bike computer where it is easy to get rides on to Strava with the minimum time and hassle what is the experience of Bryton user of this and is there some kind of work around to get the data onto Strava automatically.

    Thanks, just felt the need to get something on the web as their is not many reviews out there for the device. Tried to be reasonably detailed with lots of pics. It’s useful to get some feedback as that is my first cycling blog post ever.

    Hope to get a few other blog posts developed over the coming weeks when work and riding allows. Thinking of route planning on Strava and reviewing the MIO 505HC I purchased as a replacement to the Rider 60. Possibly a short bit on a local sportive I’ll be doing this weekend.

    I changed my mind about the Bryton from my initial impressions.

    Whilst I don’t have the rider
    Whilst I don’t have the rider 60 I do have the rider 20 and find it very easy to upload to Strava. You need to download Bryton Bridge 2 to load rides to their dashboard and then you can upload to Strava. It’s a bit fiddley but no problem really. Hope this helps.
