Recently bought a set of 2nd hand tubulars complete with tubs glued on, seller said ridden once and looking at the pattern on the rubber I doubt very far. However I don’t know when the tyres got glued on and whether the glue needs ‘refreshed’ after any period of time. Should I trust them to hold out or remove, clean and re-glue? And any advice on doing so?

    If already glued, stick to
If already glued, stick to that. I don’t fancy tape over old glue.

Just try and seperate them as per the post above.

    Pump up to racing pressure
Pump up to racing pressure and go round the wheels trying to roll them off. Any dodgy sections, rip off and reglue.
