road.cc Socks – Haunted?

    Any one else been sent a pair of socks that might need exorcism, or something?

    Three rides, 220 miles, all in pouring rain. The only common factor was my (formerly) white RoadCC socks (now in a less than fetching Belgian Tan grey). Nearly all dry miles up to receiving the socks. Of course there’s a heatwave this week and I’m too busy to get out and really test my theory.

    Maybe there’s a guy with tail and a fork in the mill, knitting on the odd pair?

    This weekend it’s back to the old, tired but not jinxed socks.

    I think I’ve broken the curse on my white socks! First two times I wore them the weather was pretty miserable… today, glorious sunshine 😀 Now I just need it to stay that way for lots of weekends…

    Sorry about the oil Simon – we are not sure how that could have happened we will chase up with the delivery company.

    Same here…most of the little tube was inside the jiffy bag and not in the tube…loose cap by the look of things…..stickers oiled and pretty much useless too…

    Managed to sneak out after work for a quick ride, no rain! However there were ominous black clouds gathering on the horizon as I arrived home and it’s rained, on and off, since.

    Either I ride faster than my jinx or something else entirely!

    Guys we cannot confirm or deny the presence of spiritual doping on our team road.cc socks.
    However we are pretty sure that I saw mine take my MTB outside last night and try to bury it in the veg patch.

    I wore mine mountain biking
    I wore mine mountain biking on Sunday and got devoured by midges, in fact my eyes even got gummed up on the downhill sections (Forgot my glasses.) Legs now look like I’ve leprosy.
    Didn’t even think of blaming the socks, but must of been them.

    Hmmm… Mine seem to have been a godsend! Been out for four rides in them, all nice and dry and even had some better average power & average speeds than ever before! (This could be due to a new training plan and have nothing to do with the socks mind)

    But… Mine are black socks… Maybe it’s just the white ones?
