Clinchers / inner tubes with tubeless tape?

    Pardon my utter ignorance of everything tubeless, I’ve only ever run clincher tyres with inner tubes, but should I remove the tubeless tape my wheels came with and put normal rim tape on them if I don’t intend to run tubeless? Thanks!

    Thanks, have left the tubeless tape on. Was only 10 grams per wheel, Velox would have been heavier. đŸ˜‰

    If you want, but I can’t
    If you want, but I can’t imagine why you would want too, the tape protects the tube from the holes the spoke nipples go through and tubeless tape does that as well as the other stuff.
