I travelled to London and made a special journey for the protest. I have to say the turnout and reception was very good. I took some videos and the area came to a standstill. The motorists seemed to understand what was happening and James obrian on Lbc also was also talking about the event. I managed to call in and say my part.
It was a emotional time there and I hope in some way that the event helps move on the debate of what to do to prevent deaths like this.

I couldn’t for this one, but
I couldn’t for this one, but I think it was good that it was held in the morning as I imagine a lot of colleagues and other people that knew her would have been there.

Slightly disappointed with James OB later on. That was slipping into the territory of lycra=bad cyclist, wicker=good cyclist. I understood the point he was trying to make, which I make all the time, which is that we need more everyday utility cycling. But it’s stupid therefore to start identifying “mamils” (mentioned during the show) as a problem.
